I have seen The Dark Knight …

… and I don’t even know what to say, in the best possible way.

When the movie began on the IMAX screen, the entire audience let out a gasp at how big and beautiful the picture was.

It ended to cheers, and, with the exception of the massive roar of applause that Heath Ledger’s name VERY deservedly got as it flashed on the screen, everyone sat there in complete silence until the end of the credits.

But you want to know about the stuff in between, don’t you?

Utterly epic and amazing.

And I’ll say this for now:

If they don’t make another one, I’m okay with that, because this movie gave me everything I needed from a Batman movie, and then some, and then some more.

Epic.

Monumental.

Go see it!

So much more to come.

You don’t even know.

And.

I really want another one.

I was afraid you’d say such things.

    Me:

    Epicly bored.

    Monumentally unimpressed.

Wanted to leave with an hour still to go.

I do agree: If they never make another I’m fine, too.

MOre to come, JB, more to come. I shall be posting my review on Empirecomics.net soon.

John….words cannot express my reaction to this movie! I loved every single second. Glad you enjoyed it too. I was not prepared for some of what happened. At all.

    And I’m exhausted.

I was waiting to see what you would say about it.

I’ve been a fan of Heath Ledger since I first saw him in Roar and then The Patriot. So talented for one so young. Beyond his years.

I’m just worried that I won’t see Batman but Heath Ledger’s last film and the tragedy of his dying so young and that thought just makes me very sad.

I will see it though. I love movies to much to miss it and the performance that everyone says is totally Oscar worthy.

    Hi John! :)

I saw the ” Dark Knight ” last night with a few friends, and I did my review this morning, but I do not agree with George on the basic content of the movie…I was definitely not bored with with movie, nor with Heath’s role as the Joker, again, I’ll let my review do the talking for me…of course I was most excited about the preview for Watchmen coming in 09…that will be a definite movie ticket purchase.
