And in our Hero of the Week segment, I fondly remember someone who might not have been a kid but was certainly a kid at heart. Robin Williams brought us much laughter and joy in his film, television, and stage performances and also by entertaining 90,000 soldiers in 13 countries with the USO, building lasting and inspiring friendships with ill children via organizations such as Make a Wish and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and raising funds and awareness for various causes affecting children and the homeless.
